A feast to remember
Last night we had a really delicious Thanksgiving feast. although it was not very similar to the pilgrim's first feast, it was exquisite. We had flank steak, homemade pasta, asparagus, little crackers with cheese and cranberry sauce.Yum!

A day of Thanksgiving
Today we are having a non-traditional thanksgiving. No turkey, no stuffing, but a lot of family time. We woke up late, watched the Thanksgiving day parade on CBS, watched Young Frankenstein, and had yummy breakfast rolls. (A mix between a cinnamon rolls and breakfast burritos.) We are excited to get out our Christmas decorations, go to a movie, and eat a yummy Thanksgiving dinner-we are thinking Italian night: lots of pizzas and homemade pasta.

St. George
Traveling to St. George over Spring Break with my family. Oh How Fun!

We went to a place that we call "Fat Man's Misery" because of the narrowness of the crack.

Clara went through almost seven times!

We camped out on top of Gooseberry Mesa, such a beautiful panoramic view!

McMansion…

Fun in the city of Saint George!

Alder Annual Rock Climbing Festival. Competitive? Yes.

We had the wonderful opportunity of going to a Barrage Concert. Barrage is a fun and wildly energetic group of violinists. There are five violinists, two guitar players and a drummer. All the people are zany and fun, exciting to listen to. In one of their songs (Viva La Vida, by coldplay) they used broken bows to play. They played all sorts of cool songs from different genres, inculding Tango, classical, folk and much more. I don't think they are on iTunes yet, but definitely give them a try. Barrage travels 40 weeks out of the year, a demanding schedule, but if you hear of them coming to your town definitely give 'em a try!

Trial Run
Ok. Thanks to my grumpy brother (his term, not mine), we have decided to give a blog a try. We certainly like looking at other blogs on occasion, so we will give this a try. I am hoping that everyone in the family will contribute. And, I am hoping that we can print this out some day in the future as a not so virtual reality.
